Arjo Ghosh
Arjo Ghosh is an internet entrepreneur and non-executive director, best known for founding Spannerworks in 1997. This pioneering agency emerged as a key player in the digital cluster in Brighton.
Spannerworks distinguished itself as an early hybrid tech marketing agency for its innovative work with major companies such as Toyota, British Airways, Coca Cola, and Bank of America. The company was acquired by iCrossing Inc. a decade after its inception. This acquisition contributed to the creation of an independent, global digital marketing agency with a turnover exceeding $130m.
In 2010, iCrossing was sold to Hearst Corporation Inc., with its headquarters now in NYC.
Following this success, Arjo has engaged in various commercial and philanthropic roles, serving as a non-executive director and chair. He was a board member of Sussex University from 2008 to 2017. Arjo has been involved in angel investments since the 2000s.
Currently, Arjo holds the position of Chair at AudioActive, a UK-based charity dedicated to empowering youth and young adults through music.
